PHOTONFOOD aims to provide a portable solution for flexible farm-to-fork sensing of microbial and chemical contamination in food products and along the food production chain. The EU-funded project will develop an integrated solution that combines innovations in mid-infrared (MIR) sensing with smart paper-based sample treatment, and advanced data analysis. Being validated and demonstrated in real scenarios along the food value chain, this new food safety scanner will ensure that food is free from fungi, pesticides, and other substances detrimental to people’s health.
The Bromedir project aims to enhance the multi-sensing analysis of chemicals and biochemicals in both liquid and solid forms, as well as to enable the highly sensitive detection of trace markers present in small amounts of gas. This will be accomplished through the development of a new generation of MEMS FTIR spectrometers and photothermal spectrometers (PTS). nanoplus is proud to contribute our expertise in laser technology, particularly in the development of laser diodes and interband cascade lasers, to this ambitious project.
As a member of the EU PASSEPARTOUT project nanoplus Nanosystems and Technologies GmbH proudly contributes its expertise in designing mid-infrared lasers to the realization of new smart photonic sensors for pollution monitoring.
During our Christmas Party at nanoplus, we set up a fun installation. Enjoy watching, and get to know the team behind nanoplus.
